How We Spent Our Weekend...

A tribute to Lisa's love for Polaroids!

How to Enjoy the Perfect Seattle Weekend:

1. 80 degrees and sunny.

2. Invite two of your best friends in the world to spend the weekend with you.

3. Go to the Yarrow Bay Beach Cafe at 8:00 pm. Find out there is a hour and a half wait. Make reservations on the I-phone for 8:30 pm, and just slip right on in rather than wait another hour. (Pretty slick!)

4. Prepare a trip to get a secret treat to celebrate two late birthdays and the completion of another section of the CPA exam.

5. Get lost on the drive home while trying to find the "Secret Treat" which turns out to be right next to the Ghetto, but was never found.

6. Play a game on the way home trying to guess what the "Secret Treat" was. (Answer: The Cupcake; the close relative to the muffin.)

7. Eat plenty of reese's pieces and sour watermelons.

8. Wake up bright and early for tasty french toast.

9. Find a killer parking spot by the Pike Place Market.

10. Eat plenty of treats at the market: Hom Bows, Fruit Logs, Baked Goods, Bubble Tea, and Frozen Yogurt.

11. Burn off the calories by walking to Store 1 (Nordstrom) and doing some serious browsing of all five floors!

12. Stop by the Ballard Locks to watch the boats go from the Puget Sound (salt water) into Lake Union (fresh water), and back again.

13. Stop by the Ballard Cupcake Royale on the way home to finally try the "Secret Treat".

14. Cool off at the pool.

15. Prepare and execute the perfect BBQ: organic blue corn chips, homemade guacamole, marinaded salmon, grilled corn on the cob with lime and chili powder, grilled zuchini, ceasar salad, and Izzes.

16. Roast mallows for S'mores, and make homemade Red Mango yogurt.

17. Camp out on the back deck.

18. Discuss whether it is easier to sing songs you wrote yourself, or to strictly do covers.

19. Express utter disgust for highway 99.

20. Cruise around Edmonds taking in the beautiful vistas, including Rob's favorite: St. Andrew's Drive in Mukilteo.

21. Plan the next killer adventure!
